About the Role
Young Actors Academy is seeking passionate and creative Drama Teachers to deliver fun, confidence-building sessions for children and young people aged 4–14. You’ll plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate drama lessons that develop creativity, teamwork, and communication — from imaginative play and storytelling for our youngest students to character work and performance skills for our older groups.
Throughout the year, classes work towards showcases that celebrate students’ progress and achievements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver weekly drama sessions for Early Years, Primary, or Lower Secondary students
- Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
- Build confidence and imagination through creative play and performance
- Prepare and rehearse pieces for student showcases
- Communicate professionally with the YAA team and parents when required
- Requirements
- Graduate in Drama, Performing Arts, Education, or a related field
- Experience teaching or leading workshops for children aged 4–18
- Reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Chaperone licence is useful (or willingness to obtain one)

About the Role
We’re looking for vibrant and supportive Singing Teachers to join our growing team. You’ll teach expressive, confidence-building singing sessions designed for children aged 4–16. Lessons focus on performance, teamwork, and enjoyment of music, helping every child find their voice.
Students regularly work towards performance showcases to share their skills and progress.
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach weekly group singing lessons for Early Years, Primary, or Lower Secondary students
- Introduce vocal warm-ups, games, and songs suited to each age group
- Encourage healthy vocal habits and expressive performance
- Prepare and rehearse songs for student showcases
- Collaborate with YAA staff to maintain a positive, creative environment
Requirements
- Graduate in Music, Musical Theatre, or Performing Arts
- Experience teaching or leading singing with children or young people
- Confident accompanying on piano or using backing tracks
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing teaching style
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

- Foster teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence
- Prepare and rehearse routines for student showcases
- Ensure sessions are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for all participants
Requirements
- Graduate in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related discipline
- Experience teaching dance to children aged 4–14
- Enthusiastic, dependable, and confident leading groups
- Knowledge of creative dance and performance techniques
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Chaperone licence is useful (or willingness to obtain one)
