About Me
As the founder of Young Actors Academy, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education and the arts. With a BA Hons in Drama and Education from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and a PGCE in Drama with English from Warwick University, I have dedicated my career to nurturing young talents. My journey includes:
🎭 Theatre Entrepreneur: I founded and led my own theatre company, touring the UK for two exhilarating years. This experience enriched my understanding of stagecraft, production, and the transformative power of live performance.
🎓 Qualified Teacher: Over 20 years of experience in teaching, including leadership roles as Head of Department and Head of Faculty. My background ensures that every student receives top-quality education and personalised guidance.
📚 Quality Assurance Specialist: Skilled in quality assurance, moderation, and creating engaging learning experiences, I ensure our training is both fun and rigorous, meeting high educational standards.
👥 Passionate Mentor: Experienced in coaching and mentoring students and staff, I inspire and motivate through every challenge, helping each student find their unique voice and shine on stage.

Our Classes
Our classes include the opportunity to develop acting skills through prestigious Lamda examinations and the opportunity to perform in live productions at a local theatre venue.
We aim to complete at least one live production and one Lamda exam every year. Our main focus is developing those key drama skills with a little singing on the side!
